36-Hour Christmas Chat for Holiday Support
Stop in when you need to connect with company who gets it.
We’re hosting our 36-Hour Christmas Chat again this year. I began hosting this event in 2014, missing a few years (2020 and 2021).
If you feel lost, alone or misunderstood over Christmas, please stop into our chat room.
Because we understand you may not be where you want to be and may need a place to go, we’re opening a chat room for 36 hours for any family caregiver and former family caregiver who needs a place to vent, share or connect over Christmas.
Our virtual chat room doesn’t require gas or your heavy winter coat. If you need time away from family, if you need to connect with others who understand, if you need an empathetic ear who knows how it can be, please step into our Christmas chat room.
From Noon ET on Christmas Eve until Midnight on December 25, we’ll keep our chat room open. To join the chat on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, create your free account on our community, Caring Our Way, and then click into our Christmas chat room.
I put a call out on Thursday for volunteers and was so inspired by those willing to spend a few hours in our chat room providing good company to both current and former family caregivers. I'll be joining the chat room on during the afternoon on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day. (Want to help? Learn more and sign up to volunteer.)
During a difficult holiday, you may need a cozy place to land. Please feel free to find comfort in our chat room. We’ll keep the lights on for you.
