Good morning! I hope you feel relief from a worry, inspired from an idea, and supported because of good company. Thank you for all you do!
=====
In 2009, I started writing Good Morning messages, like the one above, when I wanted to find my own voice on Twitter. In the early days of Twitter, we had a 140-character limit which helped me focus on one take-away message.
These Good Morning have evolved over the years. I created journals, turning these messages into prompts for your day's intentions and goals.
Most recently, I transformed these Good Morning messages into a Good Morning Routine which you can track in my community, CaringOurWay.
I have found that paying attention to my morning routine makes the routine more meaningful. My typical Monday through Friday morning includes a rhythm:
☕ I brew the coffee.
🛏️ I make the bed.
💪 I stretch the muscles.
✅ I check in with Snug. (Snug is a check-in app I started using because I live alone.)
🎼 I listen to classical music.
🖊️ I post a Good Morning message.
I track my habit in the Good Morning Routine section: Coffee. Bed. Muscles. Snug. Music. Message.
I feel so much better at the start of the day because I already recorded a win.
The Good Morning Routine tracker helps you create a morning routine that works for you. I offer suggestions for short meditations, journaling, stretching and reflecting.
If you'd like a more intentional start to your morning, join me! I'd love your company.
