Because You Worry
Our worries define our caregiving experience. We also can define what our worries say about us.
So often, we think of our worries as the enemy. We definitely want to take care of them because they do steal our peace of mind and our sleep. Because we worry, though, we have truly invaluable qualities and characteristics. Our worries say so much about who we are.
Because you worry, you are:
1. Thoughtful. You think through situations, experiences and relationships. You spend time in thought about your impact and about how others impact you. Because you give so much thought to your life, you live a life with minimal regrets.
2. Gracious. You want to create the best experience for those you encounter. Because you strive to create the best experiences, you enter and end your experiences with grace.
3. Forgiving. You understand the pain of imperfection which means you keep a forgiving heart. Because you know how to forgive, you live fully in the present moment.
4. Fun. You appreciate a good time because you relish a break from your worries. You also understand the power of giving another a break from their worries by encouraging them to enjoy the moment.
5. Conscientious. When you give your word, you mean it. Your actions show it. People trust you because they know you are worthy of their trust. Because you have trust, you have the gift of an honorable life.
6. Compassionate. You understand worries are a universal experience. Because you understand that others worry, too, you become the compassionate listeners others seek when they need relief from the weight of their worries. You make life better for another.
7. A Leader. You see what could wrong which means you take action today to prevent a crisis. Your vision means you lead.
8. An Innovator. Because you live problems, you crave solutions. Your focus on being the solution means you innovate often.
9. A Disrupter. You avoid settling for the easy short-term fix that only sustains lasting problems. Because you demand the best, your disruption becomes the difference our world needs.
10. Caring. You care which is why you worry. Because you care, you live a life full of heart, passion and conviction.
What do your worries say about you?
