During November, which is National Family Caregivers, we're working to create programs in our communities that provide financial support for family caregivers.
Our first step is to reach out to hospital CEO, hospital foundation CEOs, American Medical Association CEO and American Hospital Association CEO.
We'd love your help!
I’ve created templates of letters you can send to your local hospital and hospital foundation CEOs as well as a letter to the American Hospital Association and American Medical Association to which you can add your support. You’ll find the templates and the letters in our Caring Advocacy and Awareness Group in our community called Caring Our Way.
The 17 Caregiving Systems
We’re also still collecting stories about navigating, managing and advocating within The 17 Caregiving Systems. Last week, I shared my story about my dad’s last three weeks with Natalie, our intern from the Community Health Program at University of Illinois. Natalie would love to interview you, too. Learn more about this initiative and schedule time with Natalie.
Thank you so much for all you do!
