Our Partnership with YourCare360, an Employee Benefit
We bring choice, lived experiences and conversational assessments to the workplace.
Imagine: Your employer connects you to support from a caregiving coach, who gets it because she lived it, so that you can receive support to manage your caregiving responsibilities.
For 300,000 members of YourCare360, an employee caregiving benefit, this will be the reality.
I'm grateful to partner with YourCare360 to connect its benefit members with Certified Caregiving Consultants (CCCs) and Comfort Care Family Coaches (CCFCs). These CCCs and CCFCs complement their personal caregiving experience with my specialized training. Through my training, they learn how to support family caregivers through the six caregiving stages, the 12 caregiving fatigues and the 17 caregiving systems.
Initially, the CCCs and CCFCs will support 300,000 YourCare360 benefit members. These benefit members can complete The Story Assessment, one our conversational assessments, at no charge with a CCC of their choice.
Conversational assessments spark insights that help family caregivers take their next step, pinpoint a solution they want to find and make a decision. Typically, an assessment collects data for a system; conversation assessments create possibilities for family caregivers through meaningful discussions. After completing the assessment, benefit members can continue to work with a CCC at a reduced rate through one-on-one or group coaching sessions.
Our partnership offers unique solutions:
1. Employees can choose their own CCC or CCFC. Often, when an employee reaches out to a benefit for support, they can't choose their advisor. We want to ensure that working family caregivers receive support from a Coach that aligns with their experience and needs.
2. If employment status changes, employees can continue working with their coach. An employee who takes a leave to manage caregiving responsibilities can continue working with a Coach, who can help with the transition back to work. Our Consultants and Coaches can follow the employee so the employee receives consistent support from a Coach who understands their story and unique needs.
3. We're building relationships with employees so they can connect with the same Coach throughout their caregiving experience. Instead of repeating the caregiving story each time they reach out for support, employees simply reach out to their Coaches, who understands the situation, dynamics and challenges.
4. Our CCCs and CCFCs have transformed their personal caregiving experience by launching their own businesses. Through our partnership, we're building strong small businesses led by former family caregivers.
5. Benefit members can enroll in workplace programs, including Family Emergency Planning for a Team and Workplace Resilience Facilitator training, at reduced rates.
