This week’s caring question asked about the thoughts which help keep you going. I shared mine is “this too shall pass.”
Others shared theirs:
Barbara Corley: "It just is". This helps me focus on the fact that a situation may not always be bad or negative. It also helps me let go of the resistance I feel when something unexpected happens. It's that resistance that makes life harder for me. I let go, accept what's in front me and handle it. This mindset shift has been life changing for me.
Jessica Sima: There are always options, choices, and decisions that I can make in any situation.
When we create thoughts that give us hope and create action, we connect to our resilience. I’ve spent the past four months paying attention to resilience. We rely on our resilience so much right now. How do we take care of it? We can start taking care of it by taking care of our thoughts. When we craft thoughts which comfort us, we also take care of our resilience.
We’re continuing the conversation about resilience in April during our virtual event, The Caring Conference. The conference, Our Resilient Spirt, will feature workshops to help us all better understand our resilience so we have our resilience when we need it. Please save the date for our conference: April 9 and 10. Registration opens for this event on March 1.
We already started a conversation about resilience on our website, CaringOurWay.com. Join us to connect with others about how we work our way through challenging times. You’ll also stay up-to-date about our conference announcements.
Save the dates of April 9 and 10 and be sure to join our conversation about resilience on CaringOurWay.com. We look forward to building resilience with you.
