Story telling, family emergency and our Certified Caregiving Advocate training (it's free) happen this week.

We’re hosting events this week and I’d love for you to join me if you can:

Friday, January 24 at Noon ET:

• Family Emergency Planning: Join us for support making plans to manage emergencies. You can preview how the planning process works by watching The Caregiver’s Journey podcast. I joined the hosts, joined Nancy Treaster and Sue Ryan, to share four tips to help you develop your plans. We offer this free monthly planning session on the fourth Friday of every month at Noon ET (11 a.m. CT, 9 a.m. PT).

Saturday, January 25:

• Story Telling with Six Words at 10 a.m. ET (9 a.m. CT, 7 a.m. PT: You have a story to tell about your caregiving experience. Join me to gain insights into how to share your story by starting with six words. With a story, you’ll be ready to join our Caregiving Listener Project on March 22, 2025. (This program is free.)

• Certified Caregiving Advocate training at 11 a.m. ET (10 a.m. CT, 8 a.m. PT): You probably had an experience during caregiving you wouldn't wish on another. As a result, you want to be the change so that others experience a better caregiving experience than you. The time is now to create an impact that improves the caregiving or after-caregiving experience. You are just the person to be that catalyst for change. We want you to be successful in your work to make that change. Our Certified Caregiving Advocate™ training program arms you with what you need to start an effective movement for change. (We typically charge for this training and are offering this free for you. Register even if you can’t attend live; we’ll make the archive available to you at no charge.)
