Your Template for Your First Caregiving Book
Write your first book to help a friend during her caregiving experience.
Your caregiving day includes all the elements of a great book:
Mystery: Will the doctor return your call?
Fiction: When will your family members wake up to reality?
Non-fiction: Why do you have to be the one that always speaks the truth?
A caregiving experience creates so much content. It’s no wonder so many family caregivers and former family caregivers write books about their experience.
I think you have a great first book in you. I also think a powerful first book is one that helps another during his or her caregiving experience. You can write a terrific book of tips for friends who just begin their caregiving experience. Imagine if a friend had given you a book, personalized just for you, with all the information you needed during your own caregiving experience. Imagine how much time you could have saved and frustration you could have avoided.
To help you write your first caregiving book, I’ve created a template that’s ready to house your tips, insights and wisdom. Your 83-page template features prompts within 19 chapters that you fill with resources, suggestions and ideas. You can customize the template with your favorite font and use Canva to create your book cover.
Your free template is available through a free course on CaringOurWay.com. As you use the template and tell us about additional support you’d like, we may add additional material to the course. When you finish your book, please share it with us, including on social media. Use the hashtag #carebook.
